GOLDEN SPEEDO MAN
A dull roar rolled through the lineup. Suddenly he was surrounded by cheers and hoots as people splashed at the water and scurried out of harm's way. With the intense glare from the setting sun it was impossible to distinguish anything from the blinding light. He squinted hard to find some definition to see what was causing the disturbance. Finally his pupils contracted just enough for him to see a figure materializing from this golden oblivion. As they effortlessly gilded towards him he realized that it was the mythological man he had heard so much about. Everything was true! He flew past him at a lightning pace, just a golden blur, riding a golden board with brilliant color coordinated swimming trunks. It was as if he was trying to outrun the setting sun to maintain his place in that golden moment in time.
